Help for a friend of Sonny's - 06-15-2011, 09:25 PM

I received this email from anyone have suggestions or have any ideas?

I received your name from Sonny Morgan in Austin. I have a 2001 Cobra Convertible. My drivers seat back is broken and I am looking for a replacement. I'm curious if you may have any leads or suggestions to help me track one down. Thanks in advance for your help.

Like Henry said. LRS. They may be worth calling, to see if they have replacement parts for the broken seat or know where it can be found.

Late Model Restoration Supply, Hewitt, TX

Some other options

1) take the seat apart and remove the covers, then weld up the broken frame.

2) If that is not desirable, then maybe getting a replacement salvage seat.

MPS auto salvage in Winder, GA. Tons of Mustang salvage parts

Other salvage yards

He can also swap seats (driver to pass, and vice versa) to get by until seat is fixed or replaced.
